REDEFINED WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT INC.
Courage over Fear
Redefined Women's Empowerment Inc. (RWE) is a 501(c)3 organization founded in 2018 as a resource for women in Barnwell County and surrounding areas. Through this organization, we focus on mentoring, financial literacy, leadership, mental and physical health, and entrepreneurship. As a result, we have established the following initiatives:

Esther's Closet:
Esther’s Closet is a holistic approach designed to meet the needs of women who are initially entering or transitioning back into the workforce. Aid comes in many different forms. Therefore, we are equipped to provide computer training, resume' assistance, mock interviews, professional attire, and much more. Meeting the needs of women in our community is the next step in empowering and equipping women for success! Esther's Closet...Courage Over Fear!

RWE Scholarship Fund:
The RWE Scholarship Fund is intended to recognize a deserving student who identifies as female and who anticipates majoring in entrepreneurship or other business-related field.

RWE Internship Program:
The RWE Internship Program is intended to support student career development by providing students with both the hard skills and soft skills required to improve their marketability in a global marketplace.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance:
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (V.I.T.A.) Program is designed to provide assistance and education to low-income taxpayers through providing free tax preparation and financial literacy education. RWE has assisted over 300 taxpayers since 2018.
BOYZ2MEN INC.
Educate...Equip...Empower
Boyz2Men Inc is a 501(c)3 organization and was established by Marcus Rivera and Thomas Davis Jr. as a way to reach at-risk youth in Barnwell County and surrounding areas. The mission of this organization is to mentor, inspire, educate, and nurture. Through this organization, young men have been able to attend college and obtain meaningful careers in their field of choice. Initiatives established through this organization include the following:

Boyz2Men Life Skills Curriculum:
The Boyz2Men Life Skills Curriculum is a 16 week program designed to mentor, educate, and enhance life skills for at-risk youth in Barnwell County and surrounding areas. Since its inception, approximately 150 at-risk youth have completed this program.

Boyz2Men Scholarship Fund:
The Boyz2Men Scholarship Fund is intended to provide financial assistance for at-risk males attending institutions of higher education. Since the inception of this fund, 100% of graduating seniors (who complete the curriculum) receive financial assistance for college.

Adopt-A-Highway:
Boyz2Men Inc focuses on community service and has adopted a portion of Highway 3 in Barnwell, SC. Their efforts are in collaboration with a statewide beautification initiative for the state of South Carolina.
